Blu Grande Polished Commercial
Blu Grande Polished sports the most luxurious and modern of this product’s available finishes. The polishing process exposes the aggregates beneath the surface and gives it that lightly speckled terrazzo look. Combine this with its large surface area and slim joints and you have the sleekest of slabs to adorn your project with. These minimalistic joints make this smooth slab ADA compliant, but beware — its polished texture is too slippery when wet to use around pool areas, where we would recommend the use of other large slabs like Blu Grande Smooth or Blu Grande Slate instead. For those seeking to unleash their creativity, Blu Grande Polished pairs particularly well with its smooth counterpart in the same color, while also being compatible with the smaller Blu formats and the Valet and Squadra pavers. This rectangular slab looks great in linear and herringbone motifs but can also be integrated into modular or custom designs when combined with the previously mentioned products. Like the other large patio slabs of its family, this product’s size makes it an especially appropriate option for rooftop and pedestal applications, or for bringing a modern look to large-scale pedestrian hardscapes. Blu Grande Polished is luxurious but tough. This slab is de-icing salt resistant and a durable solution for any pedestrian-oriented commercial or institutional project. 

Blu Grande Slate

Blending this product with the Blu Grande Smooth slab in the same color can also make for a subtle but charismatic hardscape. Alone, this smooth slab looks great in linear and herringbone motifs laid across large pedestrian areas. Its large size makes it a great pedestal or rooftop patio slab, while its natural stone texture gives it an anti-slip advantage around pools and water areas. Blu Grande Slate is de-icing salt resistant, and its HD2 finish makes it hard to stain and easy to clean, a must-have for projects with heavy foot traffic, where dirt and spills are common.
