Fuel Surcharge

Due to the significant rise and volatility of fuel prices, Arnts will be implementing a fuel surcharge.

Please note, the surcharge will be calculated based on the delivery portion of your invoice, not the material.

The fuel surcharge will apply when the average price of diesel is above $2.00 per litre. The fuel surcharge will be approximately 1% for every $0.05 diesel averages over $2.00 per litre.

For example: If diesel averages $2.30 per litre, the fuel surcharge will be 6%.

The calculation will be based on the weekly average fuel price posted for the Toronto market by Natural Resources Canada:

The initial fuel surcharge as of September 14th is 7%.

We will be monitoring the situation closely, and the fuel surcharge will be eliminated as soon as fuel costs return to reasonable levels.
